But, dancing!
What magic it is!

Pretty girl

‏‏‎ ‎

Bandaids on my fingertips

From all the needle pricks

Because I had sewed myself a love letter that week

‏‏‎ ‎

Then pulled it on my shoulders

And buttoned it up my hips

To dance for a night

‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎

But, dancing!

What magic it is!

Because no matter where I’m at –

Alone in my bedroom or in a

Crowded bar

I have never felt lonely when I am dancing.

‏‏‎ ‎

‏‎

Chose you.

You woke up

because Today looked upon your face

in the dawn

and felt tenderness for your every breath.

She grabbed your hand

and asked,

“May I have this dance?” ‎
