A mesmerizing gang of banshees
illuminated the skyline
Each one showcasing a unique design
Indigo, platinum and silver
Interesting mix of colors
Seem outlandish yet sublime
A rushing sense of motivation
It had pierced my arteries
but I had felt no pain
Instead a tiny amount of energy
Was ingrained into
My mind
My heart
And my fingers

CJ The Tall Poet (he/him) is an extremely weird writer and author. He has written two quotes books that were influenced by haikus, poems, and stories that are labeled as experimental, mysterious, and humorous. He currently attends California State University San Marcos and is majoring in Literature and Writing. He is currently working on his third book (Childish Expressions), that is entirely full of poems and artwork written in a childish tone. It will be released in September 2023.
