“Looking at these altered images is like seeing through different lenses. We are not seeing the exact same thing, but the basic elements are the same. Despite how I edit these photographs, they are still flowers. Still beautiful. I think that is a reflection of how I view people, too. No matter what we look like, or how we look at each other, we remain human beings and connected through that core similarity.“
