a few words for the first former lover
dearest one,
hasn’t it been a while?
surely indeed, since i yearn for you—particularly your smile
heavenly, angelic lips curving.
but, you left me.
and i miss you everyday, endlessly.
time may have passed
but my heart is still broken, you can still see the shards of glass.
i guess it’s true what they say. things never end like a fairytale, despite how good they seem.
perhaps, on a sunny day, i will recall the times you held me—then, how that time vanished so
fast. because here we are now, separated.
dear i, dear lord, dear god,
dear whoever can hear me,
i miss her—you—dearest one.
the anguish i carry from missing you, it bites my heart
the fang poisoning my hope
but one day, you just returned. pushed through the doors, grasping me like you never left. my
mind disregards the perplexion, because i fall against your shoulder. you sing as you hold me
tight—telling me that everything will be okay.
now i get on my knees and pray
only fools fall in love, right?
yeah baby, you’ll never fade away—despite what you’ve said before
however, if you do, i’ll just bound your heart in the ropes you tied mine with
because moving on is too hard, dearest one.
