I think my wings may mend here
And maybe I could learn to fly again

I think I like

I think I like it here

The air is cleaner here

There is no pretence or name calling

There are no complications, either

I think my wings may mend here

And maybe I could learn to fly again

I think i love it here

I could plant my seeds here and watch them germinate

Maybe, just maybe, we both could plant our seeds here

And watch them grow

Before our very eyes

Haunted

And your eyes… haunt me

Those dark pools strike an unmistakable chord in me

They draw me, call me

To drown in their chocolatey depths
