Writing Prompt, VII.

Yes, we’re succumbing to the inevitability of a certain date, but hopefully not all its clichés. We offer you this prompt with hopes to ground ourselves somehow in the face of the world, find the right fuel to hold on and fight for better.

So, we warmly invite you (today or any other day of the year) to send us your thoughts, in the form of writing or visual art or basically anything, on the theme of love. Find a few questions to inspire you below.

How do you see love outside of the images of romance, closest partnerships, intimacy, etc.? How would you represent love outside of our human relationships? How does it spill over (or is maybe actually at home there) to other areas, like nature, art, etc.?

How are love and the values of joy, curiosity, inclusivity, compassion, respect, community … [insert yours] intertwined, how do they feed on each other or seem to be a foundation for each other? Can they move us from charity to true solidarity?

How can we base our daily life, activism & quest for justice and liberation in love? Is it naive idealism or crucial groundwork, and why (not)?

Tell us about the authors, thinkers, artists, activists… who inspire your quests.
