Lavender never dies just remember
The frozen black coffee
still lies on the table
for I was waiting for you to say first forever.
Our love was never at the stake
because we never let the garden of hopes
dried between us
and watered every day,
we coexisted.
You’re my lighthouse in the darkness
in between
the golden shore
and the sparkling ocean.
Although we never said
that we will lie
side by side
when our time is over.
I bet you’ll grieve
as Orpheus did for Eurydice
for a thousand different reasons.
Our nameless relation lasted
year after another
Reminiscent of affection in you
won’t fade away
like maples in December.
Without our acknowledgment
we unknowingly forged a castle
safer than a church or a temple,
We ignited the most powerful emotion.
Our kindle spirits gleam enough to warm
our cold bones and calm our anger.
We found a sense of belonging and togetherness.
Me and you just us two,
There’s a big world out there to see
We’re exactly where we’re supposed to be.
Before you left me in the dungeon for another lady.
