At 4 pm
we sat in the
hot tub
and watched
the sun
drop down
upon the
frozen lake
sun-kissing
she said
and turned to me
our lips touched
and
light filtered through
the ever-trees
vixen tracks
shone circles
in the snow
stones
re-earthed
and thawed & warmed
and all at once
We / This —
It came together
in a moment
some kind
of eternal.
