The Blue Hour

a painting by Hanna Rul

Author’s note: I see this piece as relating to the theme through its focus on intimacy as a space where emotional states such as grief, tenderness, and resilience coexist. The act of holding becomes a quiet movement from vulnerability toward endurance, where connection offers support.

In this sense, the work approaches intimacy as both a form of resilience and a subtle act of resistance within an uncertain or indistinct environment.
